Letter for John McKay to Dr Black

Letter to Dr Black in behalf of John McKay, Sculony, Tongue.

Mr McKay has been unable to support himself since childhood onwards. His brother who has a "throng and weak" family had been supporting him but is now unable to do so.

Mr McKay had been receiving three shillings per month but found that this only half supported him. His application for poor relief was refused.
