First Letter for Jane Gow to Parochial Board

First letter sent to the parochial board concerning Jane Gow (or Gordon).

This letter informs the parochial board of the rheumatism from which she suffered. It states that even her neighbours were aware that she would sit up all night working just to provide for her family. It was this work that has caused the illness to get worse to the point where she can no longer work.

Application for relief was refused on this occasion.
