Letter to Parochial Board for Barbara McKay

Barbara McKay was upwards of sixty years of age and is unable to support herself. She has noone who can support her and so is in an "alarming state."

The letter states that these facts can be confirmed with investigation. She also has nowhere to live but stays in a hut belonging to Mary and Bella McKay who are also in the poor list. She begs for any aid that can be given.

Her application is accepted.
