Letter from Congested Districts Board

Letter to the Clerk of the Parish Council of Farr from Congested Districts Board in Edinburgh.

The letter is addressing the application for two grants to enable the creation of a road in West Strathy and a repair of a peat road in Baligill.

The repair of the peat road was refused but some question are asked about the creation of a new road in West Strathy. Has the County Road Authority agreed to take over the road as a highway? Or what other arrangements will be made for its maintainence?

The clerk is requested to send a ordenance map with the new road traced on it.
