Kinlochewe Hotel

A view of Kinlochewe Hotel, in the village of Kinlochewe, Wester Ross. The hotel was built during the nineteenth century to serve the traffic travelling along the old drove road. The hotel still accommodates most of the village's visitors.

Kinlochewe is located at the head of Loch Maree, in the parish of Gairloch. It is situated along the A832 and surrounded by some of the Highlands most spectacular mountains. Most of the mountains, such as Slioch and Beinn Aighe, are composed of Torridonian red sandstone.
