The Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland, also known in Gaelic as 'An t-Eaglais Shaor Chleireach', was formed in 1893 and claims its origins during the Scottish Reformation. Known colloquially as the 'Wee Wee Frees', it established its Scottish base primarily in the Highlands.
