This is a receipt for £21 7s 3d (twenty-one pounds seven shillings and threepence) received by the Inverness District Board of Control from the Inspector of the Poor, Alvie Parish Council, being one half (the) Pauper Lunacy Grant (the) year 1925-26. The Board ran the District Lunatic Asylum and sent accounts to the parishes which had sent patients there. The receipt is signed by Robert Gilbert, Treasurer
