This 1931 plan is by the architects Alexander Ross & Son, of Queensgate Chambers, Inverness. It shows proposed alterations to the pavilion at the Northern Meeting Park in Inverness. It was submitted to the Dean of Guild, whose approval was needed for new buildings or alterations to existing ones. The Northern Meeting was established in 1788 by landowners and other influential people. The society organises a number of social events, including annual piping competitions and highland games.
