Anns an earrainn labhairt seo, tha Seoc Mac na Ceardaich a' bruidhinn mu aon de 'dh'eòlaichean' no caractaran Inbhir Pheofharain. Chaidh an earrann seo a thoirt bhon t-sreath 'Recollections' aig Moray Firth Radio, a chaidh a chraoladh ann an 1991.

I can think of some of the old characters that might interest you. Hector Gordon was one conspicuous at the lower end of the High Street. His niece who stayed with him was a friend of a Miss Mackay and they had arranged a trip to Inverness by rail, quite an outing in those days. Miss Mackay had her best clothes on because you were well dressed when you went to Inverness in these faraway days. She knocked at Hector's door. There was no reply and she was a very shy lady and she was conscious that the curtains were drawing up in the street and people were wondering who was knocking at the door. She knocked again and the third time of knocking, Hector opened the door and said, 'Losh, it's you Miss Mackay. I didn't know you with your clothes on.'
