'This is the Station Square. And as you'll see there are no Highland Railway Offices or anything over here by that time. This was taken in 1883 and it's the Ragged Boys Choir singing, possibly for pennies, in the Station Square. The Ragged Boys School was over on Tanner's Lane, which is over by May Court, near the cathedral. It was set up in 1853. This was for poor boys, and their singing I believe was quite, quite wonderful. But there it is, 1883'
