'Voices From Their Past - Messages For Your Future' a chlàradh ann an 2005. Tha Màiri is Dòmhnall MacCoinnich gan ceasnachadh le cloinn o Bhunsgoil Ulapul.

Màiri: this was one of the busy fishing ports during the war. It was about the only port where they were landing herring and it'd be anything up to eighty to a hundred boats out on the loch there.

Dòmhnall: Oh yes, there would have been. Yes, yes, there would have been.

Màiri: And the lorries - well, they were about a quarter of the size of the ones they use today. But they would start in Quay Street, right down Quay Lane, along Shore Street, bumper to bumper, out Braes Road, as far as the eye could see. And the place with fish boxes! And the rats! You've never seen anything like it. There would be a short spell - there would be no fishing and the boxes would be left untouched, so when the fishing would start again and they would start to move these boxes - look out! The rats would be making their presence felt.
