The Inverness Trustee Savings Bank, established in 1840, was situated on Lombard Street in Inverness. Trustee Savings Banks were institutions which primarily accepted savings deposits from the working class. Between 1970 and 1985 branches across the United Kingdom amalgamated into the TSB group, later merging with the Lloyds Bank to become Lloyds TSB.
