The SWRI Committee Group from the Orkney Section in front of their stall at the Great Show of the Highland and Agricultural Society at Bught Park, Inverness on 25 June 1932. The show was also known as the Highland Show and was described by the Inverness Courier (28 June 1932) as 'an undoubted success'. The crafts displayed in the stall are a traditional Orkney Chair, the back of which is woven, and knitwear. Recently there has been an upsurge of interest in 'Orkney chairs' and Orcadians now living abroad are keen to buy them. Far from this craft dieing out, it has been revived.
