On this page of a 1957 Glenurquhart Bulletin the editor writes about the revived fortunes of the newsletter. The printers lowered their charges and local people contributed more articles. However, financial constraints prevented the community from printing further instalments of a serialised fictional story, 'Tha Gille Dubh Na Mart' ('the Dark Servant of the Cattle') about 17th Century Glenurquhart.

Whilst these professional articles would be of wide interest the quiz about local history was very popular with local people. This edition prints answers to a quiz from the previous edition. It is notable that the bridge over the river Enrick is the oldest in Glenurquhart. The name 'Drumnadrochit', which is now often used synonymously with Glen Urquhart, means 'Bridge on the Ridge' and is an allusion to the bridge above the river Enrick.
