The rather imposing figure in the centre of the front row was probably the conductor of the small Kyle Gaelic Choir. The photograph was taken in 1929 in the garden of Glenquithel, Kyle of Lochalsh, home to the chemist and photographer Duncan Macpherson IDENTIFIER: HCD01008
