This postcard shows old Leanach Cottage on Culloden Moor. It is said to date from the time of the Battle of Culloden (1746). It was inhabited until 1912. Today, the building stands next to the Visitor Centre at the battlefield, although in a somewhat altered state. The chimney has been raised, the window enlarged and the wing altered
