This postcard shows Cape Wrath Lighthouse at Durness in Caithness. Built in 1824, the lighthouse lies at Scotland's most north westerly point. It remains extremely inaccessible to visitors, with a ferry trip across the Loch of Durness required to reach it. The lighthouse was automated in 1998
