This postcard shows waterfalls on the River Conon. Shortly after leaving Loch Luichart, the River Conon pours over a series of cascades just north of Little Scatwell, before winding eastwards through Strathconon towards the Cromarty Firth. The Luichart Dam was built over the Falls of Conon during the building of the Conon Hydro-Electric Scheme between 1946 and 1961.
