This photograph shows Highland Railway coach No. 17. It comprised three third class and three first class compartments and had no corridor or lavatories. It was built in 1909 at the Highland's Lochgorm Works at Inverness and was in service until 1944.

The carriage is part of the collections of the Scottish Railway Preservation Society and at the time of writing (2012) it is stored in the carriage shed at the Museum of Scottish Railways at Bo'ness.
