The sign in this photograph was probably erected by Sir Daniel Hamilton, and later removed by the National Trust. Sir Daniel Hamilton was the owner of the Balmacara/Plockton Estate, and was one of the few landowners to encourage public access by constructing and restoring hill tracks and paths. Coillemore Brae is on the outskirts of Balmacara
