Kyleakin
Castle Maol

This photograph is taken looking south from Dunringell, to Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye, and the mainland in the distance. Caisteal Maol, seen just right of centre was thought to have been constructed in the 10th Century by a Norwegian Princess, who then extracted a toll from ships passing through the narrow strait
