This photograph shows a group of foresters felling trees. Pictured back right is Wliiam McEwan, son of Peter McEwan and Margaret Hendry. William was born in 1880, at Cargill in Perthshire, and worked as a forester on the Glamis, Allangrange and Highfield estates. No information is available about the other foresters pictured here and the location in which the photograph is taken in is unknown.
